Church Ope Cove

We are a small but very active circuit on the stunning Isle of Portland just south of the popular family resort Weymouth. Our heart is to see God shining through our lives and to share that life giving relationship to the community around us.

There are two Methodist Churches on Portland: Underhill Methodist and Easton Methodist. We are very involved in eccumenical work and are driven to build a closer knit church community on the Isle.

Refresh 2012
As you are probably aware Refresh2012 is the name given to the church in Weymouth & Portland’s response to the Olympics. What you may not be aware of is that the website, www.refresh2012.org is now up and running, and being updated on a weekly basis. Once on the site you can find out how to support Refresh2012 by praying, volunteering, offering accommodation and donating. There’s an on-line booking form if you would like to volunteer and there will soon be a ‘Homestay’ booking form where you can offer a bed or beds to one of the volunteers coming to help out.
